About Bildco Inc.
Bildco, Inc. is a residential remodeling company based in Long Island with over
25 years of combined experience in the industry. Our first priority is to ensure that you receive exceptional service and quality throughout the design and construction phases of your project.
Our relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and partners are built on the foundation of communication and ethical business standards. We provide service to parts of Nassau and Suffolk counties in New York.
The Founder
Michael Welsch
Upon graduating High School Michael took an apprentice position at Hauppauge Tile and Marble, a company that specialized in high-end tile & marble installations, where he worked under Thomas Cook, a seasoned tile & marble installer.
By 2003, Michael had started his own company, Tile Trends mainly working for builders, General Contractors & homeowners. In this time he worked side by side with master plumbers, master electricians, and other seasoned subcontractors. he gained a wealth of knowledge about the other functions of home development by interacting with other builders and managing small teams.
In 2007 Michael enrolled in a 2-year Architectural program at Island Drafting & Technical Institute in Amityville, N.Y. where he learned about drafting and design.
Following this experience, in 2011 The projects Michael was taken on under the name Tile Trends didn’t fit, so he changed the business name to Bildco inc. it was time to put his knowledge of project management to grow and scale to take on larger projects. The main catalyst for Michael’s business success can be attributed to his focus on maintaining and sustaining relationships.
Throughout his career as a General Contractor, Michael has built long-lasting relationships with homeowners because they fall in love with what he has been able to transform their home into. This is a testament to how many customers use Bildco services and trust Mike to bring their vision to life.

Initiate your remodeling journey by filling out our contact form. Share your project ideas with us, and we’ll assess the compatibility of our services with your needs. A follow-up call will be arranged to discuss your project in detail.

Complimentary Onsite Meeting
During this 1 to 1.5-hour meeting, we’ll dive deeper into your remodeling aspirations, timeline, and budget considerations. Scheduled at your convenience, Monday-Saturday, 7:30 am – 5:00 pm, this step ensures alignment and sets the foundation for a successful project.

Project Vision & Budget Discussion
Understanding your vision and budget early on enables us to tailor our services to meet your expectations without compromising quality. We’ll provide a ballpark estimate to ensure our plans align with your financial goals.

Project Retainer to Bildco Inc.
Your retainer covers design, scheduling, scope definition, material selection assistance, subcontractor estimates, and a fixed-price project estimate. Committing to us within 30 days ensures your retainer is credited toward the project cost.
